On a side note, I believe I felt the baby move last night while laying in bed. I'm not 100%, waiting for more little feelings to confirm :-)

YIPEE!
The nurse called today to let me know that my results for the Gestational Diabetes were normal! Now I don't have to worry about it again until 27 weeks when I have to take the test again.

BIG ultrasound is scheduled!
I had a regular appointment this morning and was finally able to schedule the big appointment. It is scheduled for 8/28, I tried to talk the lady into booking it a week earlier but she didn't go for it :-(
I also got to listen to the heartbeat this morning and it was INCREDIBLE! We weren't able to find it at lasts month appointment so I was really excited to hear it. Just a bummer that Anthony wasn't able to come to today's appointment.
Next week I go in for my blood glucose test, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I pass and wont have to do the 3 hour test!

A MAJOR AWARD!!
Today I made my very first baby purchase. I am rather proud that I have made it 14 weeks without buying a single thing, I can say that it hasn't been easy.
I am SO excited about this purchase and I don't think I could have picked a better first item to buy.
If you know my family- especially my dad, you know that the movie A Christmas Story is watched FAR too often every single year at Christmas time. I can honestly say I have seen this movie over 50 times. I know most of it by heart.
Fra-gi-le......must be Italian

13 weeks!
We officially have one trimester down and two to go! It feels awesome being out of the dreaded first trimester and making it this far. I have been feeling a lot better for the most part. My "morning sickness" has only acted up a few times lately, and all right when I am trying to go to bed. Its weird, but I have found that the things I was craving the most are the things that the baby does not like and it doesn't end up staying in my tummy too long. We went to the movies the other night and I made Anthony go to one that is farther from our house only because they had better buttery popcorn. Well, that was not a fun night and I don't see me eating buttery popcorn again anytime soon.
I'm pretty sure the guy at 7-11 knows Anthony by name since he is there daily getting me a bottle of Orange Gatorade.
I am starting to get a tiny bump. Its noticeable to me and Anthony because we look at my tummy everyday, but I don't think it is to others.
My next appointment isnt until the 24th. We should hear the heart beat and find out the results of our NT scan. I'm REALLY looking forward to my August appointment so we can find out if its a boy or girl!

NT Scan
Anthony and I went to the Perinatal Specialists this morning for our NT scan. I was pretty nervous walking into this appointment, mostly because I worry about everything. I still REALLY wish I had my own ultrasound and could look at the baby every morning and night. Would make me feel better. Anthony wont let me get one of those little gadgets that lets you listen to the heartbeat either, he thinks (and is 100% correct) that it will just cause me to freak out if I couldn't find it.
Anyways, back to the point of the post: The appointment went AWESOME! As soon as she put the little wand on my belly the LO popped up and was moving around like crazy. It was incredible to see its little arms waving and kicking his legs around. It looks like a little person now instead of a blob! You can even see the eyes and nose! The tech was awesome and was pointing out all sorts of stuff such as the valves of the heart, the kidney and so on. She tried for about 30 minutes to get the needed measurements on the neck but the baby just wouldn't hold still and lay on its back. So she had me get up and empty my bladder, then I had to roll from side to side on the TINY little table.. Still no luck. Then the poking and shaking of the belly began. Thank god that did the trick.
She took all the pictures and measurements and went to show them to the doctor. He came in and told us that everything looked great. He said that anything under 2.5mm is considered "normal" and we only measured 1.1.
The only bad thing that came of this is now Anthony thinks its A-OK to poke and shake my belly while saying "wake up baby".
