23 weeks!

Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

Our little man is growing so much! The kicks are finally getting a little stronger and happening much more often now. Today Anthony FINALLY felt a kick, his face expression was priceless.

I had my doctors appointment last week and everything was as normal as could be. Nice strong heartbeat and my uterus was measuring right on track. Creeps me out, but I just read that it is now the size of a basketball! A basketball.....and I still have 14 weeks left! I go in for another Gestational Diabetes test next week, I swear that my doctor is obsessed with it. I guess its better to be safe than sorry.

  1. Are you planning to do a belly cast? I had never heard of it, but when Geneva did it I thought it was very cool! Kinda weird, but cool.

  2. I have seen them and thought they were so neat! Not sure if I will do one though. I think it would be fun, but honestly would have no idea what to do with it afterwards!
